This is an add-on for WhatsMax, not a standalone product. The app is the mobile client of a WhatsMax server, version 1.5 or later. WhatsMax is sold separately: WhatsMax | AI Omnichannel Marketing, Automation and Chatbot SaaS NodeJS Script. Without a running WhatsMax installation the app has nothing to sign in to.
What you are buying: a one-time purchase of the complete Flutter source code of the WhatsMax Agent app for Android and iOS. You build it under your own name, icon and colours, publish it to your own store accounts and point it at your own WhatsMax server.
Third-party costs: publishing is billed by the stores, not by us. Apple charges USD 99 per year for the Apple Developer Program. Google charges a one-time USD 25 for a Google Play developer account. Push notifications use Firebase Cloud Messaging, which has no charge. Realtime updates use the Pusher account already configured on your WhatsMax server. Pusher has a free tier and paid plans.
WhatsMax Agent | Omnichannel Chat Agent Flutter App for Android and iOS
Your support team can answer customers from their phones. WhatsMax Agent puts the WhatsMax shared team inbox on Android and iOS. Agents sign in with the account their workspace administrator created on the web. They can then read and answer WhatsApp, WhatsApp QR, Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, WeChat, SMS and email conversations, with realtime updates and native push notifications.
The app reads and writes the same data as the WhatsMax web inbox. Anything an agent does on the phone is visible to the team on the web at once, and the other way round. The app uses only the server's mobile API and never creates accounts.
Live demo
The demo server runs in demo mode. You can browse every screen, but the server refuses changes, so replies and edits are blocked.
Why buyers choose WhatsMax Agent
- Eight channels in one mobile inbox. Each conversation keeps its channel. A reply goes back through the channel the customer wrote on.
- One Flutter codebase for Android and iOS. Flutter 3.47, Riverpod 3 and go_router. The full source code is readable, with no obfuscation.
- Prepared for store submission. It includes in-app account deletion, an iOS privacy manifest, Android target API 36 and HTTPS-only release builds. Step-by-step App Store Connect and Play Console guides are included.
- Rebrand without touching logic. Name, package id, colours, icons, splash screen and server URL are each changed in one documented place.
- Driven by your server settings. Realtime keys, push, the minimum app version and store links are managed from the WhatsMax admin panel. Changing them needs no new build.
Team inbox
- Folders: All, Mine, Unassigned, Resolved and Snoozed
- Filters by channel, inbox (channel account) and label
- Search by name, phone number, email or WhatsApp username
- List details: unread counts, last-message previews, labels and an AI-bot indicator
- Loading: pull to refresh and infinite scroll
- Quick actions: long-press a conversation to resolve, reopen, snooze or assign it to yourself
- Live updates over Pusher: a new message moves its thread to the top while the app is open
Conversations
- Message types: text, images, stickers, video, voice and audio, documents, locations, templates, interactive messages, reactions, emails (subject and plain text) and WhatsApp group messages (with sender names)
- Formatting: WhatsApp formatting (
*bold*, _italic_, ~strike~, monospace) and tappable links
- Delivery ticks: queued, sent, delivered, read and failed, with the failure reason
- Sending: a message appears at once. A failed send can be retried or discarded.
- Attachments from the camera (photo or video), the photo library or files. Upload progress is shown, and size and type are checked against the server's limits (20 MB).
- Canned replies: type
/ and a shortcut
- WhatsApp templates, including templates with
{{1}} variables. Agents fill in a form and see a live preview.
- 24-hour window: when WhatsApp's customer-service window has closed, the composer locks and offers a template instead
- Typing and presence: typing indicators in both directions. The app tells the server when an agent has a thread open, so that thread is not pushed to that agent.
Conversation details
- Contact card with call and open-contact actions
- Assignment: assign to yourself or a teammate
- Status: open, pending, resolved or snoozed
- AI ↔ human hand-over: take a conversation from the chatbot, or give it back
- Labels and internal team notes, which customers never see
- Contact profile with identifiers, custom fields and recent conversations
- New conversation: search a contact, pick the channel account and open the thread
Notifications
- Native push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging for new messages and assignments. Push is optional for each build.
- Tap to open: tapping a notification opens that conversation, even from a cold start
- App-icon badge on iOS showing the conversations waiting for the agent
- Notifications feed with an unread badge, covering assignments, mentions, hand-overs and account events
- Without Firebase, the app still alerts agents to new messages over realtime while it is open
Account, settings and security
- Two-factor sign-in with an authenticator code or a recovery code
- Settings: profile (name and photo), notifications and sound, connected devices, theme (system, light or dark), language, legal links, support, about, open-source licences and sign out
- In-app permanent account deletion, confirmed with the password. Apple and Google both require it.
- Version control from the server: older builds see a blocking Update required screen or a new version available notice
- Connection and session handling: an offline banner, session-expiry handling and a demo-mode banner
- Light and dark themes in the WhatsMax palette
- 15 languages, with right-to-left layout for Arabic
- Accessibility: dynamic type and screen-reader labels
Languages included: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Bengali, Indonesian, Chinese (Simplified), Japanese and Korean.
Built for store submission
- iOS: privacy manifest (
PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy), push entitlements and background remote notifications are already configured
- Android: target API 36, R8 shrinking, 16 KB memory-page support and a white notification icon
- Release builds are HTTPS-only
- Submission guides for App Store Connect and Google Play Console, with suggested App Privacy and Data safety answers and review notes
- Privacy policy template you can adapt and publish as a WhatsMax CMS page
- Store artwork: 512 px Play icon, 1024 px App Store icon and a 1024 × 500 Play feature graphic
Apple and Google decide whether an app is approved. The guides cover the requirements we know of, but we cannot guarantee approval of your listing.
Rebranding and configuration
- All build settings sit in one file,
config/app.json: server URL, app name, default language, privacy, terms and support links, demo sign-in and Firebase keys
- Package and bundle id, home-screen name, brand colours, icons, splash screen and notification icon each have one documented location
- Icons and splash screen are regenerated with one command each (
flutter_launcher_icons, flutter_native_splash)
- Adding a language means adding one
.arb file
Code quality and tests
- Stack: Flutter 3.47 / Dart 3.13 · Riverpod 3 · go_router 18 · Dio · Pusher Channels · Firebase Messaging · flutter_secure_storage
- Structure: one service class per API area and Riverpod providers for all state. Screens are grouped by feature.
- Tests: unit and widget tests cover payload parsing, error handling, sign-in (including two-factor), the inbox and the conversation screen
- End-to-end test suite that runs the app's services against a real WhatsMax server. It covers sign-in, inbox, replies, templates, attachments, assignment, hand-over, labels, notes, devices, sign-out and account deletion.

Quick FAQ
Do I need WhatsMax? Yes. The app is a client of a WhatsMax server, version 1.5 or later, and does nothing without one.
Can customers use this app? No. It is for your support agents and workspace owners. Customers keep writing on WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram and the other channels.
Can agents create an account in the app? No. Accounts are created by a workspace administrator in the WhatsMax web app. The app only signs in to existing accounts.
Can I publish it under my own brand? Yes. Change the name, package id, colours, icons and splash screen as described in the documentation.
Do push notifications cost anything? Firebase Cloud Messaging has no charge. You need a free Firebase project and, for iOS, an APNs key from your Apple Developer account.
Does it work without push notifications? Yes. Push is optional. Without it, agents are alerted to new messages over realtime while the app is open.
Is the code obfuscated? No. You get the full, readable Dart source.
